Interview on our sailing trip – with Tim Burns

A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of sailing from San Francisco to Half Moon Bay with our friend Tim Burns. Sitting in the cockpit after a few Dark & Stormies (aka truth juice), Tim produced a recorder and interviewed us.

We talk about how we got started sailing about the world, the challenges we’ve faced, and how it’s affected our relationship. Also, Tim has the most buttery podcasty voice ever – we loved it!

Thanks again to Tim for the great company on the sail down, and for producing this interview.

Thanks Aaron, that means a lot. We keep up with you guys on fb, but there’s something special about hearing voices. That sounds weird. Not just any voices…the voices of friends…but not in your head…real voices…ummmm. So yeah, this what life at sea does to you.

Thanks for the message and give us an update when you get a chance. Give our love to Missy and Ollie.

Good capture of the motivations… nice to have a as record of your start point for the adventure. Fun to do an update maybe a year down, after sailing experiences have built up. A way to signpost the trip. Enjoyed it.
